This series of 6 modules is an Introduction to Residential Construction. Covering the key elements of planning, housebuilding and heavyside building materials, once completed, you will have a solid base understanding of the subject. Each module includes a Knowledge Check to test understanding, with a final assessment which is scored.

COURSE OUTLINE

The programme includes a variety of learning resources: online learning modules, required reading and a number of learning activities and tasks. The online modules and the final assessment are marked online and if you achieve the required mastery score you will have passed the course and you will be able to download and print off your certificate.

You will benefit most if you work through the modules one at a time, complete the e-learning modules, read the handouts, complete the learning activities and finally discuss the practical elements with your line manager or more experienced colleagues.

Module 4 - Bricks and Blocks
